The Northwest Regional ESD, in collaboration with partners around the region, is pleased to present the
2023 School Safety and Mental Health Summit
Tuesday, January 31, 2023 8:30am - 3:30pm
Join us VIRTUALLY as we welcome keynote speaker, Kristin Souers, best selling author and trauma invested practice expert. She is best known by educators for books co-authored with Pete Hall,
Fostering Resilent Learners
and
Relationship, Responsibility, and Regulation
.
We continue the day with breakout sessions on a variety of topics related to safety and mental health in schools presented by our regional and community partners. Some of the many sessions being offered will include:
Suicide Prevention
Fentanyl Awareness
Emergency Operation Plans
Collaborative Problem Solving
Mental Health in Middle and High School
Culturally Responsive Family Engagement
SEL in the Classroom
**To access the summit, sign in on the right side of the page. Then click the green 'View Event Homepage' button. Click 'Welcome and Keynote' on the left, then click the green 'Join Welcome & Keynote Session' button toward the top which will take you to the Zoom. This will be a similar process to access the breakouts you want to attend for each session.
