Hosted by a School Improvement Specialist from the Student Behavioral Health and Wellness Team, each monthly office hour provides expert assistance for implementing Oregon’s Transformative Social Emotional Learning (TSEL) Framework, Stages 1-4. These office hours are offered as a “flipped classroom” model, with informational training videos sent out two weeks prior to each session. This approach allows participants to work on the material and then bring any barriers or questions to the office hours. Each month focuses on one Implementation Stage to help prepare for the Division 22 standards, ORS 329.045, Section 4 requirements. Registering for the event grants access to monthly training videos sent at the beginning of each month.
The overall purpose is to provide schools with the opportunity to work through each stage of the TSEL Framework and standards, and then meet with a School Improvement Specialist for technical assistance. This ensures that the TSEL Framework is custom-tailored to meet the specific needs of each school.
Dates: 3rd Tuesday of the month from 9 am to 10 am (9/17/24, 10/15/24, 11/19/24, 12/17/24, 1/21/25, 2/18/25, 3/18/25, 4/15/25, 5/20/25)
