How to Respond When You Have Caused Harm

Session Description
Understanding and responding when we have caused harm (even if we didn’t mean to) is essential to building supportive, safer, and mentally healthy spaces for everyone. A lack of such spaces can greatly impact Black, Latinx, Indigenous, neurodivergent, LGBTQ2SIA and other groups of people who often experience harm.  In this workshop, participants will learn about the CLA(I)M model that helps groups develop accountable and healthy group norms.
According to School Mental Health Ontario: The model and resources were developed in collaboration with Assembly of Seven Generations and Wisdom2Action. The information and visuals presented have been adapted from Lukayo. It is considered community knowledge and was taught to Lukayo by Melanie Jubinville-Stafford.
