Descripción: Explore los elementos básicos de una historia. Explore seis estructuras de historias alternativas, métodos, técnicas y enfoques (títeres, tablero de franela, pintura/guiones gráficos, escultura, rima y canción). Vea ejemplos de historias favoritas en las diferentes estructuras y llévese a casa diseños, plantillas y patrones para transformar libros de cuentos en diferentes estructuras.

4/26 1230-330pm 86918 JARDINERÍA DE PALABRAS Cultivar palabras, fomentar la alfabetización y hacer crecer el cerebro
Descripción: Explore nuevos descubrimientos científicos: cómo el cableado cerebral está densamente interconectado y cómo las interacciones cambian este cableado. Examine la investigación actual: cómo los cerebros de los niños aprenden palabras y qué significan las palabras. Practique estrategias de desarrollo del lenguaje: uso de palabras en lenguaje materno, denominación y contenido. Desarrolle materiales de alfabetización temprana que fortalezcan los mapas de palabras y la categorización de palabras.

Revise seis estructuras, métodos, técnicas y enfoques alternativos de la historia (títeres, franelógrafo, pintura/guiones gráficos, escultura, rimas y canciones). Conecte las estructuras de la historia con el desarrollo temprano de las habilidades de alfabetización.
Amplíe los libros de cuentos que tiene. Cree nuevos recursos para contar sus historias favoritas.

86917 Transforming Storybooks Using Alternative Story Structures
Description: Explore the basic elements of a story. Explore six alternative story structures, methods, techniques, and approaches (Puppets, Flannel board, Painting/Storyboards, Sculpture, Rhyme, and Song).See examples of favorite stories in the different structures and take home designs, templates and patterns to transform storybooks into different structures.
86918 WORD GARDENING Cultivating Words, Nurturing Literacy, and Growing the Brain
Description: Explore new scientific discoveries: how brain wiring is densely interconnected, and how interactions change this wiring. Examine current research: how children's brains learn words and what words mean. Practice language development strategies: parentese, naming, and content words. Develop early literacy materials that strengthen word maps and categorization of words.

Description: Explore the basic elements of a story. Review six alternative story structures, methods, techniques, and approaches (Puppets, Flannel board, Painting/Storyboards, Sculpture, Rhyme, and Song). Connect story structures to early literacy skill development.

Terms: All participants must pay with a credit card or with a scholarship code issued by Clackamas CCR&R and must register for zoom classes in advance, the zoom link will be included in the class confirmation email. Classes canceled less than 2 business days in advance of the training date are not eligible for a refund. Please call 503 675-4100 or email ccrr@clacked.org to request a refund; refunds are not automatic. Hours will only be issued to participants who arrive no later than 15 minutes after the class begins, hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Certificates will be emailed within a week of the class. Participants can only take one live online class at a time.
