Reading Clinic Information Session #2

Please join us for an information session to learn more about the Reading Clinic our NWRESD Early Literacy Supports Team is offering during the winter 2026 term. 

Program Benefits: 

Open to classroom teachers, Literacy Specialists, Special Education teachers, and English Language Development Specialists, participants in the Reading Clinic receive the following at no cost funded by our NREN grant:

  • 3 graduate credits from Eastern Oregon University
  • All textbooks and supplies for the course
  • Mentorship with coaching, observation and feedback
  • Substitute reimbursement to cover all class meetings
Prerequisites:

In order to participate in the Reading Clinic, educators must:

  • Have completed LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) OR
  • Have attended at least 3 of the 4 NWRESD’s Science of Reading, Science of Teaching, and Data-Based Decision Making professional development sessions.
The Reading Clinic course meeting dates are listed below:
1/8/26 all day in-person at the NWRESD Washington Service Center, and 3-hour sessions on 1/22/26, 2/5/26, 2/19/26, 3/5/26, 3/19/26 via Zoom (subsitute reimbursement provided for each meeting date).
