Description: Los participantes explorarán la importancia y la complejidad de las relaciones entre los cuidadores, las familias y los niños. Aprendarán como el desarrollo socioemocional existe en el contexto de las relaciones. Las temas incluyen la reflexión sobre las relaciones pasadas y presentes de los participantes, la cultura, la diversidad, la raza, la equidad, el riesgo y los factores de protección.

Participants will explore the importance and complexities of developing relationships between caregivers, families, and children. Participants will examine how social-emotional development takes place within the context of relationships. This training covers topics such as reflecting on participants’ past and current relationships, as well as addressing issues related to culture, diversity, race, equity, risk, and protective factors.

Participants must register in advance. Classes canceled less than 2 business days in advance of the training date are not eligible for a refund. Participants can only take one live online class at a time. Hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Classes will be closed within 5 business days of the class. Certificates will not be issued; they can be downloaded from ORO accounts after the class is closed.
