En esta formación, los participantes examinarán cómo sus valores culturales, creencias y sesgos influyen en sus interacciones con niños que experimentan necesidades de atención y con sus familias. A través de estudios de caso y experiencias personales, los participantes explorarán enfoques para situaciones educativas reales que involucran a estudiantes con necesidades de atención. Compartirán ideas y aplicarán conocimientos, hechos, técnicas y reglas adquiridos para diseñar entornos de aprendizaje diversos y dinámicos.


In this training, participants will examine how their cultural values, beliefs and biases influence their interactions with children who are experiencing attention needs and their families. Through the use of case studies and their own personal experiences, participants will explore approaches to real educational situations involving students with attention needs. They will share ideas and apply acquired knowledge, facts, techniques, and rules in designing diverse and dynamic learning environments.

Participants must register in advance. Classes canceled less than 2 business days in advance of the training date are not eligible for a refund. Please call 503 675-4100 or email ccrr@clackesd.org to request a refund; refunds are not automatic. Hours will only be issued to participants who miss no more than 15 minutes of class. Participants can only take one live online class at a time. Hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Classes will be closed within 5 business days of the class. Certificates will not be issued; they can be downloaded from ORO accounts after the class is closed.
