Foundational Flight Team Refresher

Event Details

Event Description

This 4-hour training is designed as an overview and refresher for individuals who have previously attended the full-day session. It will review the core components of a crisis response and include updated resources.

The purpose of the SOESD Flight Team is to provide organization, support, and direction to schools in the event of a death, traumatic incident, or natural disaster. This training reinforces the foundation for those who support schools during times of crisis and helps teams respond in a coordinated, effective way to restore stability.

This session is intended for school staff (administrators, school counselors, social workers, and school-based mental health providers) and community partners who have previously completed the full-day training and continue to support schools during a crisis. SOESD serves schools in Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath counties.
