Traversing our new world of technology-packed education can sometimes feel like a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to. 95% of educators are using technology, and steadily educators are adopting a hybrid setup where remote learning/working is becoming part of their identity. Willamette ESD is no exception as new policies and procedures are practiced empowering and protecting our staff.
In Technology Tips & Tricks we introduce tips for Equipment, Security, Help Desk Ticketing, and WESD Technology Purchasing. The course focuses on WESD phones, computers, iPads, policies, and procedures while steering away from the traditional "turn it off and on again". Let's take a deeper dive behind the tech in front of you. Just a few of the popular questions we’ll be covering:
How do we add a speed dial to the desk phones?
How can I reset my voicemail greeting?
The internet seems to be down for me but no one else, what do I do?
This email seems phishy, but how can I determine if it is legitimate? Who would I contact if I have questions?
We will also cover role-specific questions like app purchasing, technology purchasing, ticket monitoring, etc. There will also be a Q&A.
